CCLP is a non-profit, ecumenical church group which serves to alert, inform and call to action people of faith in defense of Creation. The Harvest of Hope project involves organizing one-day winter farmers’ markets, catered exclusively to farm vendors who use organic and/or sustainable methods, to bolster winter incomes for local farm families. The sales are all held in church meeting spaces and feature winter-friendly goods such as root crops, meats, cheeses, honey, sorghum, popcorn, hand-made soaps, leather products, woolen goods, etc. The exact products present at each sale will vary. Part of the revenue generated at each sale will go into a bank fund held to help farmers out of financial crisis situations.

Come out and support our local organic and sustainable farmers at a Harvest of Hope sale! For more information, including a schedule of sales in the tri-states or requirements to vend your products at a sale, contact Jim or Tony.
