| Key West Chiropractic Health Center’s mission is to provide chiropractic care to the community while educating and promoting the concept that the human body has an inborn healing potential that works to maintain us in health and heal us if injured or diseased. There is a physical condition called the vertebral subluxation complex which interferes with this expression of your inner healing. This condition irritates the nervous system, distorts your physical structure and posture, and drains your energy. It is our goal to remove this interference through a series of gentle and safe adjustments to your spine, unlocking your body’s potential to heal.
Our doctors utilize a type of structural correction called D.N.F.T. (Directional Non-Force Technique). We employ a diagnostic system for subluxation analysis consisting of gentle challenging and a unique leg check. This testing system allows the body itself to indicate the directions of misalignment of structures that are producing nerve interference. A gentle but directionally specific thumb impulse provides a long lasting correction to bony and soft tissue structures. D.N.F.T. adjustments are able to achieve structural corrections without torqueing, strong thrusts, and associated articular sounds that are often associated with traditional chiropractic. Our patient oriented approach provides maximum, long lasting relief in a safe and effective manner. Low numbers of initial visits without the need for frequent follow up is the clear intention of our office. Our doctors have also had additional training in the treatment of children and pregnancy. |
